Today In History: The Last Beatles Concert

August 29th: Today in 1966 the Beatles played their last concert before paying fans at Candlestick Park in San Fransico, California. Following this the Beatles became a studio band and did more experimental work. They broke up three years later.

    Well at least candlestick park isn’t being used as a trash transfer station like the first venue that the played in the U.S. (the Washington Coliseum)

    This doesn’t count the famous “rooftop concert”, immortalized in the filming of “Let It Be” …
