Autumn of Anxiety!
The Summer of Fear has passed without animals purging humanity from the face of the earth, but that doesn’t mean they have stopped trying as we read of a horrible battle between man and bear. OK, it is a panda bear, but don’t let those little guys fool you! They can be vicious! err, maybe not.
Also in the UK they are about to give in to the new squirrel overlords and celebrate “Red Squirrel Week“. Mostly this seems to be an excuse to slag off American squirrels that have gone to the UK and upset the more gentile local squirrels with their loud American ways.

Did you hear about the German guy who made a tunic and armor and climbed into the pit with the terra cotta soldiers? Luckily they did not slay him, but he did get a stern lecture from the museum guards.

I was worried they might kill the meerkats, just to be safe… but then I remembered that this is China. I like that the zoo isn’t looking (yet) into pressing charges.

Hmmmn, I don’t know how much impact the legal system would have on a panda. He’s already incarcerated.
