Belle and Sebastian are a big band among the trendy, but surprisingly are actually very, very good. Their latest album is The Life Pursuit and you will see it near the top of many best of the year lists. My favorite track is The Blues Are Still Blue sadly unavailable to sample anywhere I can find. I guess when you are a popular trendy band the samples get harder to find. Hmm, I spoke too soon, they have the video available to download here*. The album can be found on Emusic here and at Amazon here. As snarky as I sound above this album really does deserve to be on those end of the year lists, it is very good.
