New Tallest Trees Found
This happened last fall but I have talked to several people who hadn’t heard the story of the new tallest trees in the world. They are redwoods and off a bit from the beaten path. Here is a video on them from National Geographic (ad first then story).

I’ve been to Muir Woods (north of San Francisco) to see big trees. The biggest aren’t there, but they are plenty big… and beautiful… and awesum… and mind bogglingly old… When next I get back to the left coast, I hope to spend more time in the parks.

I really like the graphic that the Chronicle did.
If you scroll down, you eventually find me at 5 feet 7 inches. I’m hiding behind the guy who seems to be about 8 feet tall.
