    I almost posted that one Simon but found it too depressing. Is that really what the British Empire has become, a place where you have to apply for council permits to fly a pirate flag at a birthday party? Rome’s decline took centuries.

    At least here, that sort of insanity is usually limited to Homeowners Associations, contracts which people have at least notationaly freely entered into.
