The headline says it all: “Chocoholic squirrel.” Clearly the poor thing has a substance abuse problem and is more to be pitied than censured.
So, I should pity the little pests in my back yard as “bird seed addicts”?
Only after they get a sympathetic headline. Until then you can despise them for the heartless thieves they are.
