Interstate Rest Stop Reviews: Part the First
Pennsylvanian Turnpike:
Too small and not very good food. Interesting as a historical site, must be the oldest rest stops around. Give them a miss if you can. I would give them a D-
Ohio Turnpike:
Much nicer but all built on exactly the same plan. Good choice of food and much cleaner looking than the Indiana or Pennsylvania Turnpike rest stops. I can live with bland for cleaner and better food choices. I would give them a B-
Indiana Turnpike:
Better than Pennsylvania, but not by a lot. Bigger and much newer than the Pennsylvania ones but apparently they don’t favor cleanliness that much. Food wasn’t very good. I would give them a C-.

Keep an eye for smoking monkeys. You can’t get them on the Jersey Turnpike any more.

Looks like you’re making good time. Please give more details on the food choices and restroom cleanliness. You know, in case I have to choose the southern route versus the northern… way to Nebraska.

Today should give us insight into the exotic rest stops of Wisconsin, Illinois and Nebraska. Ohhhhh the excitement.
