Either ‘the first rule of hunting is “Be Armed!”‘ or ‘those swedes are some tough MFs for hunting moose bare handed.’

So, what is the criterion for the “Summer of Fear ‘08″ candidates? Is it actual/potential lethality or does simple creepines/fear-inducing-nastiness count?
If its the latter then I nominatethe Camel Spider.

Mostly I look for over hyped fear inducing or simply inane news stories ala the Summer of the Shark a few years ago. I will add the Camel Spider to my news search filter and we can see how they do in this year’s news cycles. And yes, they are pretty creeparific I have to admit..
