New Summer of Fear Candidate, Or Are They
Our newest Summer of Fear 2008 candidate has a healthy campaign kick off killing nine soldiers and wounding eleven, you guessed it, it is Robots! Yes, I know we have been worried about them since they were first discussed so they really aren’t a new candidate, but now we are giving them guns and telling them to get to it. I expect to see more from our someday overlords as this year’s Summer of Fear contest really starts to ramp up.

Eek. Could the robots get their own season? Or maybe year? Do these people not read science fiction?

I wonder if, growing up in and around Air Force bases like myself, you ever heard stories of the automated tail guns on B-52s tracking vehicles on the flight line or even tracking mechanics carrying large tool boxes or aircraft parts.
