It is our responsibility to let them know we care and we will vote on our concerns. If we don't turn them out of office, regardless of party, they will be left believing it is ok to keep playing the games they have been playing. Have a look at <a href="http://www.change-congress.org/" rel="nofollow">Change Congress</a> and see what you think. It used to be our congressmen tried hard to hide when they were simply being bribed, but now they are so confident that they have blocked every method to investigate and punish their misdeeds that they have stopped even pretending they are clean. Do I think they will someday eliminate corruption? Not unless they can change human nature. I do think we can make them pay attention to how obvious they are being, which will make it harder to be corrupt, which will reduce corruption. Shine some light on the process and quit pretending that 'our guys' are clean, even if you like a politician you should watch them like a hawk. Which is exactly why they will never go away, no matter what we are told at election time.
