Ok, perennial Summer of Fear contender the Shark is really making a run for it this year with constant appearances in the news. In today’s story man gets bit by shark and escapes by poking the shark in the eye. He is an Aussie so you know he is hard core.

This year is actually pretty quiet on the Summer of Fear contenders so far, what is up with that? Normally I can count on rabid animals combined with breathless over excited reporters to give us some solid contenders. The reporters must be distracted by the Presidential dog fight.
