News You Can Use
I have been sometimes lectured that we in the United States don’t pay attention to the hard news and that is why we are so uninformed on the world sometimes. In interest of equal time with our UK brethren I present the most popular news story on the BBC this morning.
We American’s can’t compete on the serious news side with the BBC.

To be fair… the AP doesn’t distinguish between top read and top e-mailed. I think there’s a difference. We all tend to read the heavy ones but not e-mail those. The quirky ones you tend to want to point out to others. Plus… that bellringer story was very dramatic.

Bah, if you want fair you can get if from Fox or National Public Radio. Gleeful Gecko is all about the savage pettiness that amuses me. Actually AP does do a most emailed. Top story right now “A personality test for your cat“. The fact that this completely undermines my story is something I will happily ignore.
