Hybrid Car Sales way up, Detroit still thinking about it.
As we look at moving back to the US this summer I have been thinking about cars and the Hybrids look pretty good. Sales on them are way up, but the selection is pretty limited at the moment as Detroit is still thinking about it mostly. The US car makers seem to be focusing on SUV and truck hybrids, which are better than regular ones, but the improvement only brings their milage up to what a normal car gets now. Hopefully they will notice this one faster than they did the last time gas prices went way up and Japanese cars grabbed a big share of the market that Detroit still hasn’t recovered.
