Summer of Fear Set Back for Bears

In a major set back for their 2011 Summer of Fear campaign a bear was driven off this week by a woman wielding a zucchini. It is unknown how many bears are killed each year by this seemingly harmless plant, but this bear wasn’t sticking around to become one of that statistic. I am not convinced it could be much worse for the bears but I guess it can be thankful she didn’t have rutabaga or a bowl of oatmeal.

Mothers everywhere will use this information to get more zucchini inside more children. “Wanna be eaten by a bear? Know what bears are afraid of? Huh?”
