Today In History: 3 Civil Rights Workers Murdered
June 21rst: Today in 1964 three civil rights workers, James Chaney, Andrew Goodman and Mickey Schwerner are murdered in Neshoba County, Mississippi by members of the Ku Klux Klan. Sadly this happened to people who were trying to register other american citizens to vote in my lifetime. The trial of one of the suspects is underway now.
