October 27th: Today in 1954 Disneyland premiers on televison, it would run twenty-nine years and have six title changes, it was World of Disney when I first saw it. At one point in my childhood it was a must watch show every Sunday night, right after Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom. Sigh. Now we have one hundred cable chanels and nobody knows where the cool stuff is anymore. Progress, bah.
