November 18th: Today in 1978 916 people were killed in a horrible mixture of ritual suicide and simple murder at the ‘religious’ compound of Jim Jones in Guyana. I don’t have anything to say on this really, it staggered me then, and it staggers me now. Religion is great, but think, no matter what your beliefs are you have a brain for a reason, never just turn it off.
