November 23rd: Today in 1499 Perkin Warbeck is hanged after trying to escape from the Tower of London where he was imprisoned for his attempt to usurp the throne of England. It seems like there were dozens of these guys running around at one point, now even the true King of England can’t be tempted to take up his rightful position. Sad times we are in.
