1984 slower than expected.

Today in Great Britain a plan was introduced for the tracking all car trips made in the country. It is expect that this will be followed by the voluntary installation of telescreens into private homes, to be made mandatory if not enough people volunteer. Authorities apologize for the slowness of the arrival of the predicted 1984 future, but point out that all government projects traditionally move slower than expected.
