March 17th: Today in 45BC Julius Caeser won his last major victory in the Battle of Munda, effectively ending the Roman Civil War that had raged for many years. The victory was massive for Caeser, it set him up as dictator for life, but sadly that life was not as long as he hoped as he was assasinated less than a year later.
