March 23rd: Today in 1775 Patrick Henry gave his most famous speech containing the line ‘Give me liberty, or give me death!‘ The speech is a good one and well worth a read but sadly there seems to be a fair chance the version we are familiar with is not accurate. Now we are blessed with permenant records of great speeches, but don’t try to use them in a documentary….
