The Comics Curmudgeon alerts us to a very real bear danger. This is yet another example of the media warning us of the danger of the SUMMER OF THE BEAR! or was it BEES? Dangit I can never remember what I am supposed to be terrified of this summer.

Well, I can’t see the article, but I doubt it. I was thinking of _Dark_Star_ when I wrote the above. Brainfreeze is also a major summer threat. Ben talked me into going into 7-eleven the other day after a particularly hard, hot martial arts class. Hadn’t had a Slurpee in a couple of years. Took a really big slurp. The first few seconds, heaven. Then the pain, the pain, the pain…
