		<description>It's on record as being in Dumbarton Castle for 6 centuries before being moved to the Wallace Monument in Stirling in the 1890's. James the Fourth of Scotland had it rehilted in 1505 on the occasion of the bicentennial of Wallace's execution.
So while the blade is 700 years old the hilt is a "new" 500 years! </description>
