King Day Legacy

One of the saddest parts of Dr. King’s legacy for me is that it is being suppressed by his own family as they desire to profit from it. His assasination was a national tragedy that could not be stopped, this suppression is a tragedy of their own making.

January 16th: Today in 1917 Arthur Zimmermann sent the infamous Zimmermann Telegram proposing that Mexico ally with Germany against America in World War One. Mexico declined, but the telegraph was intercepted, decoded and showed to the American government prompting them to enter World War One on the side the British and French.
